Google Global Community Scholarship for the Grace Hopper Conference

Google has created this scholarship to encourage women to pursue and excel in the fields of computing and technology. The scholarship will assist students in attending the October Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference. The conference will include presentations by leading researchers and special sessions concentration on a female's role in technology. Previous conferences have resulted in proposals, networking, mentoring, and visibility for the contributions of women in computing. Additional conference details may be found at:
http://www.gracehopper.org/.

Females from outside the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Each selected student will receive up to $2,500 USD for airfare, hotel, conference registration and other travel requirements. Winners will be judged largely on their ability to show how the conference will benefit them. GPA, leadership, community service, and diversity will also be considered.
