Admissions and Scholarships in American University of Nigeria

The American University of Nigeria is new. It was founded by the Vice President of Nigeria, Abubakar Atiku, in partnership with the American University in Washington, DC, and with a group of prominent Nigerians interested in creating a world-class, American-style University in Nigeria. The goal of AUN is not only to have the finest campus facilities, but to offer the highest quality academic programs in West Africa. The University, located in Yola, Adamawa State, welcomed its first class to the University on September 9, 2005.

Scholarships
American University of Nigeria is offering a limited number of full and partial scholarships to students with exceptional SSCE and JAMB results, excellent transcripts and strong letters of recommendation.

Students interested in applying for a scholarship should first submit their application for admissions along with all supplementary materials. Then, after they have received their acceptance letter, they should write back to the Admissions Office to request that their file be considered for scholarship.

The Admissions Office will forward their file to the Scholarship Committee and inform them of the committee's decision.
